Abraham N. Rodríguez

I'm an architectural designer born in Puerto Rico and currently located in Portland. I have design experience on retail, hospitality, corporate, food service, and K-12 educational projects.

I have experience in all project phases; from initial site analysis and schematic design, to production of construction documents, permitting and construction administration. I've also coordinated information between owners, engineers, architects and contractors both locally and internationally.

I have a lot of experience doing pro-bono projects with Architecture for Humanity and ADPSR. As an active member of AIA Chicago, I helped start a the Community Interface Committee that pairs up architects and designers with individuals and non-profits in need of pro-bono and reduced cost services.

I recently completed a Master's of Architecture Program in the University of Oregon-Portland School of Architecture and Allied Arts where I explored my interests in community design, sustainability and urban design. Currently seeking employment at an ecologically and socially ethical design firm where I can sharpen up my skills in design development and construction in preparation for licensure.
